Chris Kosmides is a teacher and writer based in Baltimore, MD. He is the author of the novel, The Middlemen. He is the founder of the Hampden Writer’s Group. He currently teaches high school English and writing and has lectured at Towson University.
Jonathan Tomick

Jonathan is a writer, educator and poetry editor of The Avenue Journal. He lives in Baltimore, Maryland, with his wife, son and their cat, who is named after a Pokémon.
Meri Robie

Meri earned an MA in the Hopkins Writing Seminars, and her stories and poetry have been published in Baltimore CityPaper and the New Jersey Review. Her novel Wild Flowers is forthcoming from Watertower Press in 2025. Meri lives in Baltimore, Maryland, where she is a writer, editor, parent, spouse, and dedicated music fan.
Amelia Franz
Prose Editor
Amelia was born and raised in Mississippi but now lives with her husband and children in the Baltimore area and teaches online with Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth. She received a Master of Arts in English from Texas A&M University. Her fiction and nonfiction have appeared or are forthcoming in Image, Hippocampus, Peatsmoke Journal, Eclectica, Prime Number Magazine, Reckon Review, and other literary publications. She is currently working on a short story collection set in the Gulf coast town of Biloxi, Mississippi.
